Amber Stitt is an insurance expert, educator, and business owner specializing in disability and life insurance planning for physicians and their families. As co-owner of MD Disability Quotes, she works with medical professionals nationwide to develop personalized income protection strategies that account for their medical specialties, career transitions, and long-term financial responsibilities.

With more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Amber brings a practical, education-first approach to helping physicians understand their coverage options, navigate underwriting considerations, and make informed decisions about protecting their earning potential and the people who depend on them.

Amber earned her undergraduate degree in Business and Marketing, with an emphasis in Economics, from Bellevue University. She holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC®) designations, along with Life, Health, and Annuities insurance licenses.

Beyond her work with physician families, Amber is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, speaker, and podcast host. She is passionate about financial education and helping professionals develop greater clarity around the decisions that influence their careers, families, and financial futures. Through The Responsible Resident Podcast, she helps medical students, residents, and fellows better understand financial preparedness, income protection, and the importance of making informed decisions early in their careers.

Amber is also actively involved in professional leadership and advocacy, including her work with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS). She has qualified for Million Dollar Round Table’s Top of the Table recognition, reflecting her professional accomplishments within the financial services industry.

Originally from the Midwest, Amber lives in Arizona with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with family, and continuing to improve her golf game.
