In this episode, Scott and I discuss how some carriers offer disability income protection outside of just illnesses or injuries. Some carriers will cover disabilities stemming from elective surgeries to improve their appearance or those that are disabled post organ donation.
Many are surprised to find out only a few Own Occupation carriers offer this type of expansive definition under their contracts.
